Interview with Renate Hermes, Director of Well-being

Combining passion with a holistic philosophy, the resort’s Well-being Manager reveals her vision and advice for a healthy, well-balanced life.
What sparked your interest in the world of well-being?

From a very early age, I was fascinated by movement, sport and nature, a passion which naturally led me to obtain a Masters in the Science of Sport and Holistic Health Management. This training enabled me to take up a career in the management of high-end spas and well-being centres on the international scene, where I guided clients and teams towards sustainable changes in lifestyles and well-being of greater depth.

How would you describe the spa’s atmosphere?

It is a real sanctuary where Alpine nature meets contemporary wellness. Its natural materials, soft light, soothing colours, and views of the mountains give it an atmosphere both comforting and inspiring. It is a cocoon of serenity and renewal, perfectly reflecting the Six Senses well-being philosophy.

How do you provide ultra-personalized service?

Each course begins with a consultation and a well-being assessment based on close attention to the needs, objectives and lifestyle of each guest. Which then enables our experts to compose a tailormade program, incorporating a full range of treatments: signature rituals from the spa to biohacking, and including nutrition and full awareness practices. Each person thus benefits from unique guidance, guaranteeing maximum support for achieving well-being.

Finally, what is your best advice for well-being?

Get back to basics. Start by becoming aware of the strength of your breathing, spend time in nature and listen attentively to your body. But most importantly, learn to trust your inner consultant. Your body contains incredible wisdom, if you give it the space it requires to heal and flourish to the full.
