It goes back to my first descent on the slopes of Aminona, when I was a child. After growing up here, skiing has always occupied a central place in my life. From my first slides down the slopes to competitions, I have lived unique moments here.
Fine weather is one of Crans-Montana’s main assets, though it goes well beyond that. It is very much a family resort welcoming people of all ages, and everyone can find Something to enjoy here. Whether savoring a cup of tea in a local bakery or rising to the challenge of climbing the magnificent Trubelstock. It is also renowned for hosting events all year round, such as the OMEGA European Golf Masters.
A snowshoe excursion to the Aminona followed by a fondue at the charming Hameau de Colombire and, to round off the day, a nocturnal sled ride back down through the forest, always meets with great success. For fans of strong sensations, paragliding is an absolute must, especially when the sun goes down.
Nature is undoubtedly the most wonderful secret of Crans-Montana. At high altitudes, you discover hidden spots that are genuinely magnificent, such as the cascade of the Tièche. When you reach the peak, you are rewarded by the sight of one of the region’s most beautiful waterfalls.
I would take them to one of the highest peaks to explore local fauna and enjoy a delicious picnic surrounded by nature. Then, a pause at the edge of one of Crans-Montana’s many lakes, accompanied by a hot cup of tea to relax and admire the beautiful scenery.
