Each day, Guest Experience Makers (GEMs) keep busy backstage in the resort, making sure that your stay is absolutely perfect.
Sharing the dream of working abroad, Christina Mylona from Greece and Cristian Contenti from Italy crossed each other’s paths thanks to their common interest in hotels. They now work here in the Valais Alps, at Six Senses Crans-Montana. Their role as Guest Experience Makers (GEMs) is to ensure that you enjoy an experience unlike any other. “Guaranteeing exceptional service for our guests is my main responsibility. I make sure that each one feels special, fully at ease, and wanting to return,” says GEM Manager Christina. By her side, Assistant GEM Manager Cristian adds: “We make sure that their expectations are not only met, but exceeded, by leaving nothing to chance”. In other words, the GEMs transform ordinary stays into extraordinary stays. They can just as easily anticipate your favourite brand of tea for breakfast as organize a little surprise inspired by a conversation the previous day. “A WOW! moment is unexpected. It’s the same as a magic trick that leaves a smile on your face and makes you ask: How did they do that?”, says Cristian. And to conjure up the extraordinary, they share the same qualities: a sincere passion for hospitality, empathy, proactiveness, but also, and above all, close attention to detail. “Little gestures often make the biggest difference,” concludes Christina. No doubt about it, you will feel right at home in the resort, and even much better!
